A Rescued Blind Cat That Loves Hiking
A few article posts back I showed you an inspirational article about a blind man and his dog going hiking in the wilderness. Then the last article was about people taking their dogs hiking with a photo contest about it.
This post is kind of a combination of the two, except its hiking with a cat….but not just any ol’ cat. Its a blind one. It shows how the loss of a major sense of sight accentuates the other senses to take in all that nature still has to offer to her. Meet Honey Bee: the Rescued Blind Cat That Loves Hiking.
Honey Bee is our amazing blind cat that loves to go hiking with us! We adopted her from Animals Fiji, but she now lives in Seattle with her 2 humans and 4 other cats.
When we go hiking, we take her on our shoulders or with a leash. People say they love dogs because you can take them hiking, but Honey Bee loves hiking, too!
At the bottom, there’s a video of a hike we went on to Mason Lake, in the mountains outside of Seattle.
